cristine kelly- founder

Cristine founded Fix Creative to help the social sector innovate, thrive and grow. She has worked across a variety of fields, all of which inform her curious nature and cross-disciplinary approach to problem solving. Over the last decade, she has conspired with social and cultural innovators to power structural and transformative change in their communities and organizations. She has an active interim executive practice, working with organizations in leadership transition or facing significant change, and is a member of the Bay Area Interim Executive Director’s Network. Currently, she is leading the start-up of the Community Foundation of Nevada County, and is a guest lecturer and coach with the Institute of Leadership Studies at Dominican University.

Cristine is a passionate advocate and ally of equity, inclusion and belonging, and has familiarity working in international, rural and urban landscapes. She holds a BA degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and considers herself a lifelong learner. She is a published author, film producer, and was named an American Graduate Champion for her work in the field of arts education by PBS. 

 

Matisse Geenty - Associate Director

Matisse is a strategic relationship builder who strives to see the forest through the trees. She is a social impact advocate who specializes in development strategy; project management; and multi-stakeholder processes. Driven by an interest in how good work can be sustainable and sustaining, Matisse seeks to create synergistic connections between mission based businesses and the communities they serve. 

Matisse has experience in the cultural, public space, and environmental sectors. She has has navigated complex public-private municipal relationships, working for Bay Area organizations such as the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers, where she oversaw all contributed income streams. Matisse focuses on delivering impactful, revenue generating results, having recently served as interim director of development for Oakland’s Children’s Fairyland and New Century Chamber Orchestra. She brings a passion for financial sustainability and works to guide clients towards long-term revenue plans that empower organizations and funders alike. Matisse holds a BA in Music magna cume laude from UC Santa Barbara, with a focus on sustainable revenue models for arts organizations in the 21st century.

Matisse currently serves as Interim Director of Development for Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale, lauded as “America’s leading historically informed ensemble” by The New York Times.
